NADD joined #givingtuesday by announcing our Bridge to Hope campaign. The goal of Bridge to Hope is to raise $20,000 by December 31st to provide IDD/MI resources to families who would not otherwise be able to afford them.
40-70% of people living with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) also have a Mental Health issue (MI). Sadly, these people often wind up in foster care or state facilities because their families don’t have access to or can’t afford educational resources that would help them to understand and address the needs of their loved ones.
NADD is asking you to help us build a Bridge to Hope for these families and individuals in need. Every donation gets us one step closer, and thanks to the generosity of our Board of Directors, we can offer 1-1 matching for every dollar we raise, up to $2,500.
