Call For Presentations

NADD is seeking presentation proposals for 90-minute Skill Building Workshops, Research Symposia, Panel Presentations and Posters for our upcoming Annual Conference, October 15-17, 2025 in Minneapolis, MN.

The submission deadline for presentation proposals is April 21, 2025 at 11:59 PM Central Time.

All presentations should focus on wellness and mental health practices that promote quality of life for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disability and Co-occurring Mental Health Conditions.

Advanced clinical sessions and those incorporating the perspectives of individuals with lived experience are of particular interest and highly encouraged.

Topics of interest include:

• Diagnosis & Assessment

• Ethics

• Cultural Considerations

• Life Span Issues (Early Intervention, Adolescence, Adults & Aging)

• Family & Caregiver Issues

• Workforce Development (Direct Support Professional Training)

• Gender Identity & Sexuality

• Technology Innovations

• Program Models (Funding Innovation, Criminal Legal System)

• Transition (Community Living, Employment, Higher Education)

• Treatment Approaches (i.e. Counseling & Therapeutic Approaches, Trauma-Informed Care, Behavior Support, Psychopharmacological Approaches, Substance Use Disorder, Crisis Intervention)
