Once selected, participating organizations will be invited to attend an onboarding meeting to explain in detail the process of engaging with NADD, which includes obtaining NADD Membership and participating in a Needs Assessment Interview to determine what types of training and technical assistance will be provided, the plan for accreditation and identify the specifics regarding professional certification. The Needs Assessment process will generate a plan, co-created by NADD and the individual organization, which will include the identification of specific training content and technical assistance topics as well as details regarding the types and timing of certifications and numbers of professionals to be certified, and – for provider and state agencies – the goals and timeline for program accreditation.
